Coconut yoghurt with zaatar and olive oil

An easy condiment that lends well to any breakfast, lunch or dinner spread...and you only need 3 things: olive oil, yoghurt and zaatar. If you don't have time to make zaatar (follow my recipe here), then buy a pre-packaged blend from the supermarket.

No time to cook? No worries - just add your pre-made zaatar mix to olive oil and enjoy with veggies or flat bread.

Coconut yoghurt with zaatar and olive oil

Time: 5 Minutes Yield: 1-2 Serves

1 cup greek style coconut yoghurt

1 tablespoon zaatar blend (pre-made at home or pre-bought mix)

2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil


1. Spread the coconut yoghurt into a plate or bowl.

2. Mix 1 tablespoon of zaatar blend with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until it becomes thick like a paste. Add more olive oil if required.

3. Pour the zaatar with oil over the coconut yoghurt. Drizzle extra olive oil on top. Enjoy with flat bread or raw vegetables (think: carrots, celery, cucumber, capsicum, etc).
