Figs caramelised in ghee, honey, cinnamon and pistachios


Figs are in season late summer to mid-Autumn in Australia and one of my favourite ways to eat them is coated in a decadent honey and butter sauce. In this recipe, I use a touch of ghee and honey with cinnamon for flavour. Add some natural coconut yoghurt (or a sweet yoghurt) with some fresh basil to freshen it up. It's an indulgent dessert that's light on the palette.
